There are presently no open calls for submissions.
We are seeking work by female and non-binary artists that celebrate or address a key theme from this year's International Women’s Day: A world where difference is valued and celebrated #breakthebias
We invite you to submit completed artworks, ready to hang for a pop-up exhibition in London, at FORA Spitalfields.
We welcome painting, drawing, photography, collage, textile, fiber, print and mixed media in all styles, from all countries.
Up to 10 artists will be selected. All shipping expenses to and from London will be paid.
The exhibition will take place between 8 and 25 March for International Women’s Month. The selected artists will also be featured in ArtGirlRising, FORA and Subject Matter Art social media and newsletter and the selected works will be for sale online with Subject Matter Art.
‘At Fora, we support and encourage a strong display of diverse cultures. Promoting collaboration and creativity as a priority. This International Women’s Day, we’re partnering with Subject Matter and ArtGirlRising, to host a pop-up gallery, celebrating female artists; raising awareness and supporting equality in the workplace.
Our Call for Art will select work that embodies ‘A world where difference is valued and celebrated’, contributing to the 2022 International Women’s Day theme: #BreakTheBias.’
This Pop Up Exhibition is a project by FORA, curated and supported by Subject Matter and ArtGirlRising.
